I've visited Niš every year, while travelling to Bulgaria. But not this year, due to sad reasons we all know, so I'm glad to find another excellent album by this fantastic fusion band from this town on Bandcamp. The liner notes about Serbian folk music apply to Bulgarian music just the same, hence I understand well what Dejan Ilijić wants to tell us. Actually, odd metrics are not an invention of the prog rock era. In balkanska muzika, they are something natural, not worth thinking about it.
